Tyshawn Taylor is eager to work on the aspects of his game that need improvement.
“I just have to keep working hard, work on my jump shot and work on things they say I can’t do well,” Taylor said when informed he’d been slotted as the 33rd overall prospect in this year’s draft. “Can’t worry about what the mock drafts say and just continue to get better.”
Taylor said the Lakers are the team he would most like to play for next season.
“The Lakers,” Taylor said. “Let’s go Lakers.”

That's interesting. The addition of Sessions certainly complicates this scenario because we're in need of players from other positions like Kris Middleton, Darius Miller, Jae Crowder or even drafting another big. I know one thing though, if we're looking at drafting him we're going to need a higher pick(s). I picture him being selected in the late half of the 2nd round but not late enough for where our pick will more than likely be.

I'd love to have this dude on the Lakers. If only we had a pick lower than our Bulls' second.

2012 first round draft pick to Cleveland
The L.A. Lakers' own 2012 1st round pick to Cleveland (top-14 protected in 2012). If The L.A. Lakers' own 2012 1st round pick is #1-#14, then the L.A. Lakers will convey their own 2014 1st round pick to Cleveland. [Cleveland-L.A. Lakers, 3/15/2012]
2013 first round draft pick to Cleveland
Cleveland has the right to swap the less favorable of their own 2013 1st round pick and Miami's own 2013 1st round pick (top-10 protected) with the L.A. Lakers own 2013 first round pick (top-14 protected). If the L.A. Lakers own 2013 first round pick is #1-#14, then the L.A. Lakers' obligation to Cleveland shall be extinguished. [Cleveland-L.A. Lakers, 3/15/2012]
I'm going to throw up.

A Kansas PG? I figured he'd go end of the first round, especially with his stats. He's a senior too so he is more likely to contribute something right away. I didn't watch as much college ball this year, so I don't know much about the top prospects.

Yep. Don't even get folks started on that, they'll come at you with pitchforks.

Just because he's from a big program doesn't mean he's a 1st round pick. Taylor's a decent player with a decent 3pt shot and average athleticism, I don't know much about his ball handling skills or court vision. But he isn't 1st round value, nor was he 1st round value last draft when the draft class was much weaker. There are much better players to be had in the 1st round, and in this year's case the 2nd round. But he isn't bad value if selected somewhere between the middle and end of the 2nd round. Depending who's left on the board.

Not gonna fall to the 58-60 spots
An earlier 2nd round pick can be bought though...Taylor>Blake

Why, because we acquired a steal in Ramon Sessions in exchange for the 26th pick in this year's draft and Cleveland will be allowed to swap the 28th-30th pick next year for yet another 25th-26th pick?

I actually like Taylor a lot. Think he can go anywhere from 20-35 in this draft. Would luv to see us buy a pick to get him, even tho i highly doubt mgmt would.Has a good feel for the game. Kinda reminds me of a poor mans Rajon rondo, as his shot isn't developed yet, but can still control a game without it.

Maybe he'll get drafted, then waived after a year and we can pick him up later. Or trade another 1st round pick for him like we did with Sessions. If you can grab someone on draft day, try to do the Jeremy Lin route.
