And playing better than he ever has as a Laker. I thought he was done after last year - oh how glad I am to be wrong. He's everywhere on defense and is actually looking more agile on offense than he did in his first year here.
Welcome back, Ron. You're a sight for sore eyes.

Don't jinx it. We have to see if he keeps it up when Kobe is back. But I am loving him these days and I am confident in his ability instead of yelling NOOOOO when he shoots a 3

The flat footed heave in the Spurs game made me believe he can hit just about anything now.

One play that stuck out was he was isolated at the top of the key, and took his man off the dribble and actually into the paint for a good layup attempt.
He missed the layup but I was flabbergasted that he actually got to the rim off the dribble. That was enough for me.
When I knew his defense was back was in the Clippers game when he ripped CP3 one on one.
Im loving it.

Dirk was on him I believe and it was a great move, and I was glad he went for the layup and not even mad he missed. Much better than him throwing a stupid pass to Pau after any great move

I sure hope so... But he's not out of the woods quite yet... The last 2 games, even though he averaged 16 points, he shot 12-32 and 2-11 from 3... that said I'll be happy if he can just keep up 10-12 ppg on 35%+ from 3 considering what we got from him for the first 3 quarters of the season

Playing amazing defense and draining open 3s at a great rate? I'll take it.

I was impressed when they played the Nuggets. he had his usual looks at 3 but he was patient. he looked for the open man or took it to the paint. I hope he continues this even when Kobe comes back. he can dish it out to an open Kobe or Sessions or drop or lob it to Pau or Drew. Matt and Metta is a heck of a combo at the wing position if they're both playing controlled and at their best.

I'm not getting rid of my signature yet, but I'm really enjoying his play lately

You guys do realize he was dealing with a nerve and back problem correct? it is much better now and he can move better and jump higher then he has in a long time but most importantly he has his feeling in his feet all the way back..as long as he stays feeling good we are going to be a tough out in the playoffs cause a healthy Artest makes us very dangerous......

Someone find a thread where we all hated on MWP so I can see if I did or not.

I'd give him a try and hopefully he resurrects his play when he gets into game shape and buys into Mike Brown's system. He's played under Mike Brown before.
I was so close. He did resurrect his game but it was under Kobe's system.

Gek wrote:I always supported Ron (although think he's the best one to amnesty, especially with the amnesties).
I also generally stand up for Steve Blake (at least in terms of his rotation minutes over our other players). Kobe still hasn't re-won me over.
