Will Christian Eyenga play in the playoffs?

With the speculation that artest will miss some time in the playoffs, if not all of it, do you think mike brown will give eyenga any burn? Ive never seen him play, except for a few youtube highlights after he was traded to LA.Would he be someone the Lakers could use in the playoffs, or is he simple not good enough? not to mention he hasnt had any gametime since being traded to the lakers, so the chemistry may not be there. but as far as depth at the 3, the lakers are lacking, unless they want to play ebanks there and bring back goudelock at the 2.

sess/blake
kobe/goud
ebanks/barnes
gasol/mcrobby
drew/hill

or
sess/blake
kobe/ebanks/barnes
ebanks/barnes/eyenga
gasol/mcrobby
drew/hill

or just have kobe play 40+ minutes a game with barnes and ebanks getting a majority of their minutes at the 3

Kobe usually plays about 40 min during the playoffs. Ebanks and Barnes are gonna have to split the other 56 at the 2/3 with, ugh, a Sessions-Blake at the 1-2 lineup possibly as well. But no, I see no possible way Eyenga plays

Wha?

Rotations are shortened for the playoffs.. I really don't see Eyenga randomly getting his first minutes in the playoffs.

i'd be surprised if he was even on the active roster.

not for the playoffs but i'm sure he'll play vs the kings. with artest, barnes, and possibly ebanks out due to dropping dumbells on his hand, we'll have nobody else playing sf besides maybe kobe

Ebanks will take the minutes, Barnes will get a boost. Kobe, Blake and Sessions will get some of the residuals. Eyenga won't get anything

Just read he will suit up for tonights game VS SAC but i cant see him being active during the playoffs unless he comes out tonight and drops 15+ points

He's only active because one of Ebanks/Barnes isn't playing. When they both come back from their injuries, Eyenga won't get any burn.

i was right

The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled guard/forward Christian Eyenga from the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.

Acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 15 along with Ramon Sessions in exchange for Luke Walton and Jason Kapono, Eyenga has yet to play for the Lakers this season. In six regular season games with the D-Fenders, Eyenga averaged 12.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks and 33.0 minutes, before helping the D-Fenders reach the D-League finals.

after watching him last night, its obvious he has some much needed athleticsim that this team lacks. stu lantz seems to really want him to contribute as well. but with that being said, i doubt he'll get any burn during the play offs. though, it would be interesting to see how hed match up against gallinari in the first round

Eyenga sited during garbage time today. I predict he will get more minutes than Goudlock (who will be great w/ PT for another team in a few seasons)

G Green was cut by the Lakers earlier this season.

I liked what I saw of Eyenga. He's better than I thought.

He got some garbage time today, though not enough to really say much.

Doubt it, he simply just doesn't have enough reps in with the team. The only way I see him getting decent minutes is if one of our SF's get injured before MWP comes back from his suspension.
