lakers have clinched the 3rd seed.

Here are the current 6th seed standings:

Denver 36-28 - @ OKC, @ MIN
Dallas 36-29 - @ ATL

with one less loss, the nuggets control their own destiny, but DAL owns the tie breaker.

Denver's magic number over Dallas is 2.

Tough call on Denver or Dallas.

On the one hand I'd love to get revenge for last year to start the playoffs, but on the other hand I think Dallas has a better shot at taking OKC to 6-7 games than Denver.

Either way we'll be facing a tough first round opponent, no real easy outs in the first round out west this year.

And Denver plays in OKC, who seem like they don't plan on resting their stars. I would love to play Denver, but I don't see it happening unless Dallas loses to ATL.

Good stuff by the Lakers. Have won the division for 5 years in a row now, and even though it doesn't mean much it's still impressive, considering the hype around the Clippers before the season and our slow start.

Really? I think We can easily beat Denver in 4-5 games. Dallas seems like the tougher opponent, and like you mentioned they have a long-shot chance to take down the Thunder while the Nuggets would probably get swept.

Lol, but as for Dallas or Denver I want Denver. Artest will be needed for Dallas or am I tripping?

Has Ebanks ever guarded Dirk? Ebanks has length that "might" give Dirk problems.

Would prefer Denver over Dallas. Not only because I think it creates an easier matchup but because Dallas would challenge OKC more and in case we meet them in the 2nd round I don't want them resting after a short series.

Without Nene, the Nuggets have no chance of stopping our bigs. Cause this guy's not gonna do it.

I forgot McGee was on the Nuggets. While playing against him could be provide some lols material, I'm slightly afraid that he may try to do a free throw dunk on one of our guys and injure them in the process.

I told that to my friend today. Nuggets just aren't as scarey without Nene. McGee is dumber than a rock. Maybe the Nuggets speed helps the Lakers better prepare of OKC which would be a plus.

Revenge on Dallas would be sweet but I'd rather have an easier out with Denver and for OKC to have a tougher challenge with Dallas.
