After a great Game 1 performance the Lakers have to focus on Game 2

Starters

Because of historic performance, Drew will lead us off in Game 2!

The Lakers need to continue to play BIG & control the tempo & glass again. The Lakers out shot the Nuggets 50% to 35.6% & out rebounded them 52-46. The biggest difference was blocked shots (15-4). Big ups to Drew for setting the Lakers post season record & tying the All time playoff record with 10. The Lakers can still improve & change some looks for Game 2. Deep had a quote that went along with what I was thinking so i'll quote him to save time.

Since he saw it didn't work, he already started complaining about the Lakers being illegal on defense.

This is basically it in a nutshell. As long as the right reads are made & quick ball reversals, Karl & his crew could be ready to fold in the tent. It's up to the Lakers to impose their will & put this team away ASAP.

i think the key is to sustain the energy they showed today....thats really it...the laker the last 20 years or so like to follow up big impressive wins with stinker/duds even in victory...

karl is a formidable foe, he will adjust...

Bynum had a great night, but let's not forget Gasol messed around and almost got a triple dub!! Our bigs are way too polished and during the game I got this feeling that Denver didn't know what they were doing there. The only way I see this series taking a bad turn for us is if their guards start to heat up, which I don't see happening. We'll probably take Game 2, then we'll see what happens on the road. It ain't a series until the road team wins!!

I hope Ebanks and Steve come through again. Matt Barnes will be effective as always. J. Hill if he can use all this BS he is going through as motivation I think we'll have a monster of a game tonight.
