The Lakers need to continue to play BIG & control the tempo & glass again. The Lakers out shot the Nuggets 50% to 35.6% & out rebounded them 52-46. The biggest difference was blocked shots (15-4). Big ups to Drew for setting the Lakers post season record & tying the All time playoff record with 10. The Lakers can still improve & change some looks for Game 2. Deep had a quote that went along with what I was thinking so i'll quote him to save time.

The first being solving the quick doubles the Nuggets are sending to Drew. We have to ball reverse quicker and Drew has to bust ass on the repost. Truth is over the course of this series the Nuggets can't keep bringing the double like that and expect not to get busted for it.
Secondly I saw the Nuggets trying to generate offense from the post using Miller against Kobe, Karl did this for 2 reasons because he knew the Nuggets wouldn't beat the Laker defense by just driving into the teeth of it. So he's trying to expose the Lakers to late rotations from the bigs on the back side. Lucky we didn't get burned too bad from it. The other part was hoping he could get Kobe in foul trouble.
Since he saw it didn't work, he already started complaining about the Lakers being illegal on defense.
This is basically it in a nutshell. As long as the right reads are made & quick ball reversals, Karl & his crew could be ready to fold in the tent. It's up to the Lakers to impose their will & put this team away ASAP.
