Kobe Bryant Misses Lakers Shootaround Before Game 6

With the Lakers scheduled to take on the Denver Nuggets in Game 6 on Thursday night, they will need all their players to step up and help them close out the resilient Nuggets on the road. Now it’s looking like that might be a little more difficult than previously imagined.

According to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com, Kobe Bryant missed the team shootaround Thursday morning due to a case of gastroenteritis.

Bryant’s history of playing through illness and injury is nearly legendary at this point, so it’s safe to assume he’ll be on the floor when the ball is tipped. Still, the Lakers are going to need a big game from Bryant and the rest of their key players if they want to close out Denver and avoid a Game 7.

No way Kobe misses this game.

i know right, should of waited til game 7 in the finals. first round flu games are boring these days.

Hopefully it's just the stomach flu and not something like his appendix

Kobe is 100% playing. Charlie Sheen injected himself with stolen Kobe blood and called it tiger blood.

It's the last game that will matter of the playoffs.

I was actually being sarcastic... But this game was just rubbish. How the hell is the only guy busting his ass off the one who's ill?!? Other guys just doesn't seem to give a ****. If I was coach Brown I would just go Pop on em' and tell what I think and bench the **** out of them if they start to whine and argue.
