Its been years now, that we have been told "Just wait" (the curse of a highschooler) Bynum will become a go too player, better yet he will be the guy to build around. He has suffered through many chronic injuries, growing pains of maturity, and stat wise teases us with the potential of being great. It feels like we are being force feed with the taught that he is a great player. But when I watch him i keep seeing an super saiyan version of Elden Campbell. And it appears as well that the coaches forces the issue of making Bynum great.
I think its time for the team to stop talking up bynum and let the veterans of Kobe and Gasol who have done it before carry this team. The Lakers have two gold medalist just let them do the walking. Let Bynum step up on his on, if he ever does. Dont expect or wait for it to happen. Let his game do the talking, no more talking and making excuses for him. If they keep waiting and looking for him to carry the team, the lakers will likely fall on their face like they did last year. Use what you KNOW you have, Kobe and Gasol need to take over.
