Keys To Victory
Believe it or not this series will have an entirely different look than our 1st round match up. OKC trusts their bigs one one against any Front Court in the league. This means you Andre! This means you Pau! Will get plenty of 1 on 1 looks all series long. If these two show up night in & night out, I like our chances. We'll put Kobe on Westbrook to bottle him up & Metta will have the task of slowing down Durant & Harden with the help of Ebanks & Barnes. Control the tempo. Don't let them turn this into a track meet. They've had a lot of days off, so while they may be chomping at the bit, they may also a bit rusty. OKC likes to play dirty & intimidate

If they try that, we have some enforcers as well!

With all that said we want to win this on the court but if you guys want to turn it into a dog fight...................BRING IT ON MOTHER *******!

defensively having MWP, Kobe and Barnes out on the court in the 4th might be the best matchup... in fact they could probably mix and match any which way against Durant, Westbrook and Harden... but they wont be able to spread and stretch the floor well offensively.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Rotations wise, we need to start Blake over Sessions. Blake has been our only decent 3 pt-shooting guard in the playoffs. After this game 7, I think it's obvious we need to make this change before the series start. Can't give away any games in this series.

Sessions off the bench is going to help offset Harden's plus minus. Nobody else on our bench is going to either stop Harden or outscore him.

This will help both our starters and our bench, it just makes sense, especially against OKC.

So we got by the Nuggets, but now we have the thunder.
I say Lakers in 6 if our bigs come to play.
Bynum and Gasol have to be dominant. With an injured Perkins, Bynum has to take advantage. Same thing with Gasol and Ibaka. Kobe needs to guard Westbrook and contain hm for us to succeed. Metta has to also control Durant. That leaves harden. In the fourth when Harden is playing with those two together, who guards Harden?
The logical thing would seem for kobe to guard Harden and to put someone else on Westbrook, but with Sessions and Blake terrible on defense it looks bad.
The key to this series is to contain two of the three top scorers. If we can do this than i say the Lakers win. Hopefully with Jordan hill guarding the pick and roll better than our other bigs, he can be big for us.

Winning game 1 gives the Lakers the best shot to win this series in my eyes. I expect this series to be extremely chippy. I'm also expecting Perkins to pull his tough guy act and I just hope this team responds to that but abusing him inside the paint opposed to doing something to risk picking up a technical or even an ejection.

If Blake starts do we switch Kobe over to Westbrook on defense? That would drain Kobe out.

OKC is a great young team coming into its own. Going to take everything we have with a little luck on top.

If there is any team can beat the Thunder in a 7 game series, its the Lakers at full strength. All we need to do this series is make it difficult for 2 of their 3 primary scorers to win. Kobe and Metta will need to play heavy minutes and we'll need a reemergence from Barnes defensively, but I think we can do it.

This team is much better than the first 6 games of the Denver series showed, with any luck that performance will have OKC taking us lightly in game 1. That along with their extended rest will give us a excellent opportunity to take this first game.

Im going to say we take them out in 6 if we can steal one of these first 2, otherwise this will likely go to 7 again and we'll have to see what this squad can do in a big pressure situation away from Staples.
