Hi, I am just curious who we are rooting for to win the 2012 championship I just want to get a general consensus.
Also who is your backup team you are rooting?

As for me, I'm rooting for San Antonio. Ive been a fan of their team and coach for years and actually had no problem when they won their respective championships.
I always want the Lakers to win, and it hurt whenever we lost to them, but I never have any ill feeling towards that team.

My backup team I want to win, which may surprise many is the Miami Heat.
I was a big Lebron hater last year, but this year I see a change in him characteristically. Even though the media still takes unwarranted shots at him, it is nice to see him with more characteristic restraint.
In my eyes he is more humbled and that's all I want to see for him.
I'm still not a fan of Wade bc of his relative immaturity but I do see Lebron in a sort of different light now.

Oh and also I don't like okc not just bc they recently beat us, but I haven't liked that team since 2010. Something about them just rubs me the wrong way. Especially westbrook.
It isn't solely bc they beat us this year; I rooted for Dallas last year when they faced okc after us.

I want the Bobcats to get the 1st pick in the draft ..

No one but if I was to pick a team I would want to win it all it's the Thunder,followed by the Spurs

I have always been a supporter of OKC especially during the crucify Bennet days. I always believed that the blame for the move was in the citizens of Seattle for electing officials that broke the city by doing what they did with the Mariners and Seahawks. the rest of what happen was inevitable. with that said, I don't like Westbrook, blackaclause and Perk. so now that they have a chance I won't be rooting for them.

Boston goes without saying, but I do want them to advance and beat the Heatles, then get humiliated in the finals.

If I had to reluctantly pick a team outta the 4 left that have a shot at winning it all(sorry Philly) that I'd be ok seeing win it all it would be the Spurs, Pop and their FO deserve it after having a amazing year. Plus we can always "jokingly" chide them about their asterisk wins not being worth as much when comparing franchises over the last 12 years.

I don't want to see Miami or OKC win because I don't like their style of play(driving to the basket/bumping into ppl for fts, flopping, etc) and don't want to see it being rewarded with a title. Don't really need to explain when it comes to Boston.

Could care less. Lakers are all that matters.

The Lakers especially the ones left over from the 2010 team will be rooting for any team outside of Boston. Maybe Kobe will rooting for the Heat or the Thunder to beat the Spurs so no other star from his generation will match him in rings.
