chris palmer @ESPNChrisPalmer

Someone who could help the Lakers: Brandon Roy. Based on what I'm told he could be back in the league next year.

Chris Palmer has been throwing out every name possible since our season ended last week. There's no support to his tweets.

It would depend on how serviceable he is. He had to be in pretty bad condition for him to retire at such an early age, maybe he can get that German knee procedure?

At the risk of sounding punny, this rumor could have legs. Brandon Roy, in a recent interview, stated that his retirement was mostly a "business decision" by the Blazers, capped off by their devouring of the remainder of his contract.

He still has a desire to play basketball, and was merely "going through the political motions" to ensure that his exit from the Blazers Franchise was as amicable in the eyes of Blazermania as possible. I'd love to see him back here as a Lakers player, though I'm not expecting the same potential out of him that we all did once he dropped 52 on the Phoenix Suns during happer times.

come on son! this ain't Fox news. you can't just say something totally baseless and expect a question mark to legitimatize your thoughts.

if it is a trade idea, there is a trade idea thread. if it has VALID printed sources make a new thread.
no more question marks for you!

People really need to stop feeding into the rumors that these sports writers make. DWill also came out and stated he has not dropped any info to anyone even his brother on where he is going but every site has something saying Dwill is going to do this or that. Yesterday LakersNation had an article where we are possibly going after Ray Allen. Its beyond stale.

I think Roy's knees are structurally damaged beyond the point of some procedure helping him honestly. He's had the meniscus taken out of both of his knees.

How about start to rebuild by getting younger. Collect some first round picks. Trade some older and get some younger.

Roy is literally the best SG since Wade. He was amazing! And Kobe is his hero. He would be great off the bench in the Michael Redd role of the redeem team

Are you 12? You have some of the most elementary responses. I guess you didnt remember that Roy has busted knees. Who cares if Kobe is his hero. That has little to nothing to do with how he will perform. No reason for LA to invest in Roy.
