The Lakers are not going to get better without the help of the fans! - no keep reading - I'm serious.

We need Jack Nicholas, Denzel Washington, Justin Timberlake, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dianne Cannon, Snoop Dogg, Dustin Hoffman, Andy Garcia, Mark Wahlberg, Adam Levine, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Toby McGuire, Rambo (Sly), Tom Cruise, Camren Diaz, George Lopez... to call D-Will AND D-12 and tell them:

"COME PLAY FOR THE LAKERS, I WANT TO SEE YOU PLAY EVERY NIGHT, I'M A HUGE FAN AND YOU WILL WIN HERE AND THE CITY WILL LOVE YOU! NOTHING FEELS GOOD AS THE LOVE IN L.A. I WANT TO HAVE YOU AND THE KIDS OVER FOR DINNER, LET ME SHOW YOU MY OSCARS, COME DROP BY THE STUDIO AND CHECK AT MY NEW SONG..."

Seriously, all that celebrity love may actually get make D-Wil and D-12 want to come. Somehow we need to start a campaign to get the celebrities to call D-Will and D-12. Sly calls "Hey Dwight, let me teach you how to do a really good impression of me."

***Let's make a website and get it on ESPN News, Fox Sports News, KCAL News.

We can get this started, we need some artwork and a site and we need to send some news outlets and sports news outlets a press release. A press release is easy, you email and fax them a 1 page notification and this idea would be news worthy in LA. Then 1 celebrity will jump on, then 2, then ...

Let's get our Lakers back to the glory days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People forget how much LA has to offer. I read some crazy stat that like 75% of the world's music and 95% of the filmed entertainment comes from LA. The weather is great. You can get to a snowy mountain if that is your thing very quickly. Synth voice: "Califonia Love - Knows How to Party"

And LA is the only NBA city where the Lakers are the top dogs. People wouldn't buy football tickets so they could go to Laker games. The Lakers have had over 1,000 straight sell outs. This city LOVES the Lakers.

Mamba-V, your level of enthusiasm is so high up there it makes me cringe! Anyway i agree with Ank.. screw D12. And i agree with Aki.. totally False! Check out Bollywood and Nollywood. Those two i bet average more content that hollywood (money aside).

We have one of the most respected franchises in sports because we do $hit differently. Gotta maintain that respect, which means continuing what we do best and that certainly includes not making any player that much important. we don't beg. We don't want to make it not look like begging.

Not putting any blame on Mitch (well not yet anyway). What I was saying is that free agent acquisition is best left to the FO, not our celebrity fanbase.
