feel free to lock this thread, but i was wondering where sasha was last season? did the nets not resign him or did he go back to slovenia? i know a lot of laker fans couldnt stand him or the confidence he lost during his time here. with that being said, wouldnt a 6' 7" SG be beneficial to us at this point. i feel a lot of his downfalls were all mental, mainly due to phil and to a lesser extent, kobe.

the man plays some pestering / annoying D, and when hes hot, hes hot. how would you guys feel seeing him back in LA as a 7th or 8th man. his brief stint with the nets showed up he can still score efficiently if given the chance and confidence from the coaching staff.

I would love to have him back tbh. Our team is desperately lacking of shooters and he made a nice impact during our back-to-back-to-back finals run. What made us so good was our size AND shooting (and fast paced bench play). When we lost our shooting, the other teams just collapsed and our size became less of a problem...

Sasha's playing in Turkey and doing pretty well from what I hear. He isn't looking to jump back to the NBA anytime soon either. He will happily get upto 5mil a year in Europe.

I remember him closing the game againse the Celtics in the finals. I wanna have THAT Sasha back.

Honestly, Sasha was a beast in 07-08. Our offense was unstoppable with Kobe at the 3 and Sasha at the 2. Too bad he stunk it up after a new contract.

I'm so disappointed that Sasha got lazy after his contract. He could have been a good player in the NBA for many many years. Elite shooting plus pesky defense are hard to find.

I think one of the reasons why we got swept by the Mavs was because we didn't have Sasha's shooting and Farmar's energy off the bench.

i miss the machine too..there are just some players you don't like to see leave...vujacic, phil jackson, ariza, odom, farmar

2 made ft is closing a game these days? and that Sasha already sucked he was missing majority of his shots....the Sasha I want back would be the one that balled it up right after we traded Mo Evans away.

I want him back on the team as well. Very good guy who hustles!

My favorite player. He use to fight carmelo, dragic, and such. There's fire in his play similar to artest. Though it doesn't show all the time.
