Dwight Howard Thread II

Post#1 » by Jetset » Mon Jul 9, 2012 2:38 pm

Latest is there is no deal that's close to happening, and this is either getting leaked by Orlando to boost value or by Howard and his camp/agent for who knows what reason. There was also never a meeting in Orlando between Magic brass to discuss a potential Brooklyn deal.

Continue from here.

As long as we either have Dwight or Bynum im happy, either way were going to have a big 4 next season (Pau is going to be great with Nash)

I feel the same. Lucky to be a Lakers fan. We win either way with whatever trade scenario if it goes through or not.

Getting a new coach would have more impact on this team than a Bynum for Dwight swap. I'm convinced that Mike Brown has no idea what he is doing.

I use to be worried about that, but having Steve Nash who is one of the best if not the best in this game when it comes to managing the team on the floor makes Mike Brown's job really easy. Look how Nash made Mike D'Antoni into an NBA coach before he got exposed in New York.

Brown just has to worry about the defense.

Besides, I can't be really confident with the current list of coaches on the market right now.

Was about to post the same thing, we just got one of the best offensive minded coaches out there in Nash. He already said in his ESPN interview that he and Kobe planned on getting together to work out a offensive gameplan before the season started.

ah the complications of the trade start coming out.

SpearsNBAYahoo: Possible complication in Dwight 3way deal is Nets FA Kris Humphries would seek 4yr deal with CLE and wouldn't sign 1yr pact, sources tell Y!

Howard looks to be a dream at this point. All the talk points to him landing in New Jersey. smh

It just doesn't make sense that he'd want top lay for an inferior organization with an inferior group of players. The only conclusion I can come to is that he's got an inferior brain in that head of his.

Anyway, we've got to roll with Bynum. Hopefully his legs will improve and he won't have to deal with the swelling and pain that plagued him throughout much of last year.

Kris Humphries would be seeking a four-year deal with the Cavs and wouldn't be willing to sign a one-year deal, tweets Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports. Sign-and-trades require a three-year minimum, but only one year needs to be guaranteed. Frankly, with a rumored 11 to 14 players involved in the proposed deal, and many of them needing to be involved via sign-and-trade, I'd be surprised if Humphries was the only player that could hold things up.

With Kris Humphries being a free agent why is he waiting on Brooklyn rather than just going and signing with another team? He had a pretty good season last year, avg over 13 points a game and had an 17.9 per, so I'd think there'd be plenty of interest in a guy like that.

I hope Hump doesn't have Dwight's agent representing him.

doesn't make any sense for Kris to agree to a one year deal to go to Cleveland.

He does. Fegan manages both of them.
