hopefully he gets more play time, I was never high on ebanks but he could be a good defender eventually. His hard cuts also help keep the defense on their toes.

Honestly, I prefer Grant Hill and Metta over Ebanks any day, I want Lakers to use Ebanks as a trade resources

Which is at least a bit of a shame, because he was one of the best shoters on the team last year.

True but even then he wasnt a very good shooter, i did like his defense at times though, he did get a few blocks and some points of cutting to the rim (when he made the layups)

I dunno... Barnes shot better than 37% from downtown after the break (e.g. for roughly half of the games he played) after struggling early on in an uncharacteristically poor fashion. He's also a good rebounding wing and a decent defender.

I hope he doesn't go anywhere.

Ebanks is solid... He has size, length, quickness & nothing but upside...

37% really? well if he can do that for an entire season and the playoffs then hell yea we should keep him. and your right he is a pretty good rebounder 5.46 rebounds in 23 minutes is pretty damn good.

Barnes didn't really do anything in the playoffs for the Lakers.

That speaks as much to the state of L.A.'s roster as anything else, I realize. :(

Oh, no doubt; he had an epic shooting slump of pure fail in the postseason. Metta and Blake were considerably better in that regard. Of course, you could have said the same thing of Horry in 03 and Barnes did just fine for the Warriors and Magic in the playoffs.

Since he's struggled only coming to L.A., I wonder what variables differ...
