I was reading an article on hoopsworld:
" The Lakers are also expected to bring back Jordan Hill, and may pursue OJ Mayo or Shannon Brown in an effort to add scoring off the bench."
how the lakers can bring bach brown? he is a really good scorer and athletic guy.. if this can be made.. i think we can improve our bench..
how we can bring him back? trade?

he finised his season in phx pretty strong, but id pass if i were LAL. goudelock is no where near athletic, but his shot is far greater. and though brown was a great athlete, for whatever reason he decided to camp out at the 3pt line during his last run with the lakers.
so ye, id pass on this low IQ player

I'd rather have Shannon Brown over Goudelock or Morris.

Come back for cheap. Otherwise, I think the Lakers have other options. Also Goudelock has been sucking in the Summer League.

After his performance in the dunk competition, I just cannot endorse the return of Shannon Brown.

+1. We let Shannon dunk once, someone else can let him this time.

As a last choice I'd be ok with him but the Lakers should look at other options before going to him again.Lets remember his last season with the Lakers great Dec/Jan but was nowhere to be found the rest of the season and the playoffs.

to be fair it's hard for any Back Up SGs to Kobe to find consistency in their games when they get such little playing time.

Grant Hill & Delfino/Bellinelli/Webster are the logical plays for wings... Lakers FO wont bring Shannon back...

When your game is jumping high there's not really much consistency needed. Maybe more time on the court would fix dribbling with his head down and his inability to stand in the same spot every time down the court and hit 3's consistently

.

I would welcome him at this point. If you look at our bench we desperately need some athleticism and scoring which he provides. With that said, he's not my first choice as I'd much rather have Courtney Lee, Hill, Mayo, etc.

Lee would bring you less scoring than Brown. I'd prefer Mayo over Brown without question though.

I'd be badly tempted to say Hell No because I hated the sight of him in his final season with us but then again he was playing more on the ball and was expected to create his shot, which likely screwed up his limited mental resources.
I'd have him back if he just plays off the ball, finishing moves in transition (basically dunk) and catch and shoot without putting the ball on the floor.
If he ever dribbles with his head down we should terminate his contract right there. I mean like Mitch walks mid-court and hands him a pink slip.

Well with Jamison (if we get him) we need less scoring and probably more shooting. I rather have Lee/Meeks spotting up, rather than Shannon thinking he's Kobe.
