Meh. Not feeling sad at all. We never had a chance. He's young and hasn't made his money yet. Why would he take a pay cut at his age?

same here. but i hear hes making 12 mil for 1 season. this way he gets a fat pay day and if he can finally prove himself, he can probably get a more lucrative deal next season than what phx was willing to offer this season.

and its too bad. i was pumped to have phx as my third team cause they were full of young potential filled players. not as excited anymore. something about jared dudely starting tames that excitement for me

thought PHX would be having the '08 draft class as a team.

OJ I think is a good fit in Dallas. he can be the number 2 guy behind Dirk. only thing that puzzles me is Kaman and Brand but Mayo is a solid pick up.

Lakers had a slim chance of signing him anyway and Jamison even at his age demands the MMLE. now we can focus on acquiring solid players other than courting big names.

he has huge shoes to fill then. remember terry was the 6th man of the year type player for about 4 seasons now... oj mayo has yet to prove himself as a steady and reliable player. maybe mayo should put a tat of a trophy on his bicep like his predecessor did to get him goin.

I wasn't expecting him to join us, mostly due to us not being able to pay him what he's looking for. However, I'm surprised to hear he's joining the Mavs and not the Suns.

Yes, we never had a chance. To bad there was not a sign and trade. Anything to get him here. Just getting older does not help the team win.

Mayo is solid... I thought he would be a Sun after Hornets matched offer sheet...
