For a backup PG I'd gladly take Nate Robinson, Flynn, and Dooling all over Steve Blake.

Carlos Delfino !! even though it would need to happen through a trade, heard he isnt happy the Bucks havent made him an offer so far. Hes 6'6 and can play SG/SF, good ballhandling skills and can create his own shot, good from behind the arc and plays solid D. Maybe a package of McRoberts + G-lock would make it work.

Nate would bring some youth and speed to the PG and some fan excitment as he has some mad hops. The Mini Shannon Brown.

as much as I would like the Lakers to get a legit back up for Nash, a PG (unless he can play as a combo guard) is a waste of roster spot. Nate would be ok if Blake, Morris, Goudelock are not signed.

I prefer a PG/SG or SG/SF player. Terrence Williams, TMac (hopefully he can still contribute), and Marquis Daniels can all play PG/SG/SF positions.

Mo Evans!! I really liked him when he was with us. Can he still play now? Haven't heard much about him ever since the trade to Orlando

The Lakers still have the $3 million mini mid-level exception available to sign an incoming free agent, though Mitch Kupchak would be surprised if the team uses it.

“We look to add value,” Kupchak said. “We have a mini mid-level still available but I think it’s unlikely we’d use it unless there’s an incredible value out there.”

The Lakers may not be done tinkering with their roster.

“You can always get better,” Kupchak said. “We still feel we have another roster spot or two to look at it. Maybe a back court player.”

What is wrong with signing Nate, Gilbert Arenas, or Jannero Pargo?

I think we should still pick up Matt barnes again, as we have our playoff roster set. We just need some added energy for regular season activity and Barnes fits well.
