Lakers back-up SG solution

Instead of adding even more age to your bench, how about trading for a younger, bigger and more athletic SG? How about something small, yet effective?
Lakers outgoing:
Earl Clark
Darius Morris (if he can be dealt now) or Goudelock
Hornets outgoing:
Xavier Henry

Clark can't be moved in any multi player deal
Not sure about Morris of Glocks eligibility
I rather sign McGrady, cheaper, knows his role, and can provide everything the bench needs with play making, ball handling. Scoring is gravy but the bench needs a guy to facilitate. His 3 ball was wet last year too

DeShawn Stevenson for Goudelocke and McRoberts.

Stevenson would be a solid scorer and a lockdown wing defender off the bench, who can also get hot beyond the arc at any minute. He can even play the 3 and alternate with Artest in guarding opposing team's stars. He's a veteran who's settled into a niche role in the league as a 3-point shooter and defender.
Him and Artest would be the scrappy enforcers.

Xavier Henry is coming off of knee surgery.

Stevenson would be a nice pickup. He torched Miami in the finals in '11.

can't happen in the trade, 76ers no longer have his rights according to some reports.
Right now our backup SG is....... Chris Duhon!
Hopefully that changes.

Mitch needs to call Sasha up and convince him to come back to la for the mmle!!!
but in reality, if the talks about barbosa being interested held any ground, he'd fit in our bench pretty nicely, granted that we have one of pau/howard running with the 2nd unit.

Meeks was mentioned by Steve Kyler, I think there's a good chance.

Steve Kyler @stevekylerNBA
The Howard deal is paving the way for a few more transactions once the dust settles... Hearing that Lakers forward Devin Ebanks will sign his Qualifying Offer sheet and return to the Lakers... Hearing Lakers are likely going to land Jodie Meeks when the dust clears.
