Send some of Mitchs pimp juice to Ernie Grunfeld, he really needs it. Seriously congrats on an unbelievable trade how does Mitch do it? Is it an election year thing?

Jerry West taught Mitch and Jim to always go after the best.

Wizards got Nene, Okafor, NBA Champion - Trevor Ariza, and got rid of McGee. Some of that pimp juice is already there. Wall just needs to get that jumper going.

And Washington managed to dump Rashard Lewis in the process. You've got some solid young talent as well and some dope old school new (last season?) jerseys.

Contrary to many on this thread, I am surprised that Ernie still has his job. Adding Ariza and Okafor means that WDC has no cap flexibility for 2 years, but those players don't make WDC a real competitor to go deep in the playoffs. WDC should have been patient and fed off of the amnesty list. They should have looked to add picks or trade Blatche. His treatment cost the Wiz all of their trade value. Ernie is repeating the mistakes he made when he traded for Foye and Miller.

I will forever hold your organization in contempt for giving Jamison to the Cavs for Ilgauskas and then proceed to release him so he can go back and win a championship.

You guys and the Cavs were supposed to be rivals. That's not what rivals do.

I'm not saying anything bad about the wizards fans though. Just the management.

Chances are they're going to trade Ariza or Okafor, when the deal was made I didn't think either one would be there long term anyway. Both will be starters but I don't see how they help long term.

Ernie should have been fired a long time ago. I agree with this post, I would have just bought out Rashard and maybe looked into getting an Ilaysova who can rebound and shoot the 3 from the PF position to give Wall some spacing

Seraphin produces the same numbers Okafor did per 36 minutes last year... Okafor is the better rebounder and defender but I'd rather Seraphin get as many minutes as possible

BTW, congrats guys on the trade. We Wiz fans are glad we don't have to see Dwight 4 times a year anymore. We'd also love it if Mitch decided to return to his roots in Washington (since he was a champ as a Bullet) to take Grunfeld's job.. like... soon

They need to move Okafor to get a more mobile PF that can run with the Wall. Ariza is a solid start, Nene is good but he needs to be playing center.

Having Okafor means the more athletic guys like Vesley and Booker and Seraphin get less time

I would have rolled with Seraphin at PF and Nene at C and just let the youngin's play cause these guys are professionals instead of the knuckleheads we had a year ago

But I do miss Bronta Laron Profit though.. kid was so fun to watch; not to mention his body language is very similar to Kobe's 8-)

I would rather see Seraphin start over Okafor myself. It's better that they keep Nene at C like Slava mentioned. Seraphin just needs more mins out there but he always looked like he put heart into his game, which was not the same for some Wiz players last season. If they can trade Okafor for some cap relief or a TPE, that would be awesome as I doubt someone gives up young talent or 1st rd picks for him. A 1st round pick and TPE would be awesome :D
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust
