He's been the top 1......who do you put at number 1 if Kobe is number 2?

Edit My question.

I mean 11 straight seasons?

Obviously Wade was #1 for I think a couple of seasons, with Kobe being #2. A case could be made for TMAC being #1 for 1 season as well.

Since when? And TMac is a SF, not a SG.

I know people can make arguments about Wade at one point or another but what haters don't understand is that Kobe has been at the top longer than anyone.

Even last year while he shot below his avg it wasn't AI bad and he was pretty much at his avg across the board.

I think the guy can still be top 2 a few more years which would be amazing considering his age and minutes played.

T-Mac was definitely known by everyone as a SG back in the day. He was SG next to Mike Miller at the SF in Orlando, people had T-Mac vs Kobe SG debates and he was listed at G for All Star voting

he came pretty damn close

last yr kobe:

21.9 PER, 52.7 ts%, 30.3 3pt%, 21.5 shots/36, 11.7 TOV %, 35.7 USG%

iverson career:

20.9 PER, 51.8 ts%, 31.3 3pt%, 19.1 shots/36, 12.2 TOV %, 31.8 USG%

i think describing kobe's past season as iversonesque is spot on.

Kobe's prime had a lot of GOAT potential SG's.

VC, Tmac , Iverson and Kobe were top 4 .

Kobe won championships + worked on his game unlike VC tmac and Iverson who never took their games to the next level, that's why he is #1.

Im the biggest Kobe stan but Wade has been better all around in the last 2-3 seasons. Kobe has an intangible element but you can make a valid case for Wade based on the numbers and lets not even get started on defense where Wade is clearly the winner.
