I know we have Nash and a couple of backup PGs but wouldn't it be amazing to have Fisher back? Any chance we get him back?

I hope not. Fish is a legend here, but his time is up imo. I rather have goudelock over him

He made Blake look like a basketball player. That is how much he suck. Time to move on.

I would take him. He be coming off the bench playing around 16 minutes. I think that be the perfect role for him. Better than Blake.

id like to have him back for sure. even if its riding the bench, just his presence means a lot to the city of LA.

I'd hire him not to play, but to give motivational speeches.

I'd rather have Steve Blake as our backup at this point. Both parties have already moved on, I highly doubt there's any sort of "reunion".

If D Fish is looking for a training camp invite. It is time to retire. If he gets a money deal, then I say go for it. I bet he wants the 6th ring before Kobe. Either way he has done it all and maybe it is time to call it a career. He just never made the big time money that others made, but still banked about 50 million I bet.

He got (over)paid in '04 when he signed with the Warriors.

I was against bringing losing him last year, and it hurt real bad. But him coming in at this point is not what's best for the club. It's time to move on with what we have, and Nash can fill the Fisher role in the clubhouse.

This. Fisher was done after the 2010 finals win. Some fans just find it hard to let go of guys no matter how terrible they become. Its like you will have a harder time convincing guys on this board that Fisher wont add anything to this team over Kobe not being the best player in the league anymore.

I thought Fisher was pretty much done as a starter when he left for GSW the first time...
For me he's been completely done since about '08...

But he always seemed to become relevant in the post-season... And he was a feel-good guy on the team... So I was fine with him.

And maybe with so many new faces on this team, Kobe needs a little help getting everyone focused, but I'm not sure those intangibles make up for what he gives up on the court...

I'd love seeing him as a assistant coach though.

Pau doesn't seem like a very strong leader either, so we have to rely on Kobe who can be Mercurial at times... Or Dwight who can resort to just being a goof...

We could use a guy that can bring it all together for us.

Fish back as a player? No thanks. We need players that can contribute on a consistent basis, and Fish hasn't been able to do that for years.

What do you mean Nash hasn't been deep in the playoffs Kil? He's been to the conference finals three times with two of those going six games.

Yeah that was a brain fart, I was arguing with a guy at work about T-Mac and typed what I was thinking...

It'd be great to have him back....as an assistant coach.
