I'm really glad that Kareem is getting a statue outside Staples. I know he's had some tense moments with the organization, but he most definitely deserves it.
On a tangential note, I wonder who the first Clipper will be to get a statue.

pretty awkward the way it went down, and it was a good point they brought up that the Lakers don't own STAPLES even though they are the most popular tenant, it's AEG's building.

It's good that he got it but I'm not quite thrilled after the tantrum he threw to try and promote his movie last year.
