We'd have more championships than the Celtics and that's all that really matters.

Kobe's legacy isn't going to change much at this point, especially if he's putting up 15 ppg seeing as how he doesn't have a big impact on defense anymore. He'd have to produce at '09 or '10 levels in order for him to move up another spot or two on the all-time list, and that's just not going to happen with the overall talent that we have, not to mention how much he's declined the past two seasons.

To be fair, if Kobe manages to score 22-25 points on good efficiency (56 TS+) while coming up big in the clutch for a championship team, I think he continues to cement himself as a "winner" and I don't see how that doesn't put him in the immortal 6 (7). i mean he would still be the leading scorer for a championship team But yeah, if he averages 15 for a threepeat, nothing changes in regards to his legacy, as his last 3 titles will be closer to Horry status rather than Jordan status. And that's fine, cause as someone else mentioned we would surpass the celtics and I think most fans here would just be happy that we got a freaking threepeat. Kobe could be on the bench for all I care. Truthfully though there is no way in hell we could threepeat with Kobe average 15 points...Ideally we need him to be in that 22-25 range with good efficiency. I can't believe I just gave this much effort to answering this ridiculous thread.

Who cares? I'd be happy as long as we win. For Kobe's legacy, it obviously won't change much since 15 ppg means he is a role player. I don't see that as a bad thing though. Kobe's days of 30+ PPG on good efficiency are gone.

HIs legacy would be pretty amazing. He'd finally prove everyone he was an unselfish player, so not only will we have a few titles as the man, but he'll have a few titles as an unselfish player who was willing to sacrifice some numbers for the good of the laker organization. It'll cement him as the greatest laker of all time as well. It will do nothing but good.

Also he'll get 3 more finals mvps. I'm assuming the 15 ppg are to go along with 15 apg, 10 spg and 10 rpg, meaning he averaged a quadruple double the entire series, in which case he'll get 3 more finals mvp and be put in the same conversation as Michael Jordan, possibly even solidify himself as the GOAT since nobody ever averaged a quadriple double in a finals series or any playoff series for that matter. It's even possible he gets a quintiple double, with 10 blocks per game, meaning he's the first player to average 10 blocks a game from the SG position while getting a DPOY award earlier that year for his 15 BPG average during the course of the season.

You never gave the stipulations for the other stats so we are free to postulate as we please.
