I am a Nash homer, can I hop aboard the bandwagon?

Post#1 » by The_Shivman » Sun Sep 30, 2012 1:31 am

I have basically been a Nash homer since he entered the league in 96, and have followed his career while he was with both pho and dal. By extension, the Lakers have always been one of my most hated teams in the League. I actually didn't mind LA as much prior to Shaq leaving, but as soon as Kobe took the reigns his cockiness always bothered me, but I have always respected his competitiveness. He is sort of the antithesis of a guy like Nash. I was not shocked by Nash's decision to jump to the Lakers, it was an obvious fit, and with Dwight there it makes even more sense. The one thing that worries me however is Kobe's willingness to stay out of Nash's way and let him run the pick n roll with Dwight and Pau, and be the outlet man. He just doesn't seem like the kind of guy who lets the play unfold itself, which is the best option for a Nash run team, just look at the efficiency. Anyhow I am looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

Not until Hermes gives you the look-over. Let me warn you though, he is meticulously thorough. If you have any undesirable items or contraband you might want to announce that now.

as long as you show you are knowledgeable and don't needlessly bag out kobe without appreciating the role kobe has had to play for the lakers for 15 years, i.e. pseudo-point guard

this will be the first season that kobe will be playing in a PG-driven offense (princeton aside), next to a worthy back-court running mate

pau is free-game though

dont worry i only come here to check news once in a while, the level of maturity in this forum is nowhere near the maturity that clublakers has (for an example look at your response to the thread)... with a few exceptions of course (deep, sofa king, josephpaul) & a few others.

Anyway, hop on man, it's not like we can stop you.

you don't need an account to view the wiretap or view threads on boards outside of the non-basketball discussion, your alibi is not checking out. and for however immature and unbearable this forum is, isn't this your second or third account in one month? clublakers must not be all that great for you to keep making accounts on places you've been banned from and from the looks of it don't even like being on. i don't know too many people who stick around in undesirable situations, so what is your purpose here? showcasing your art?

i'm all for being a fan of a particular player (with me its brook lopez, he's the best- but i don't ever go over to the nets board)

what i'm not a fan of is jumping around from team to team, pick one and stick with it
