Shaq is going to far with disrespect for Dwight

Post#1 » by leeprettyp » Thu Oct 4, 2012 11:22 pm

About time Dwight says something back to this guy. I find it amazing that instead of saying things or trying to help the guy out like Kareem and Dream have Shaq continues, to look like a clown with his disrespect for Dwight. Crazy this guys attitude is starting to even annoy us true Laker fans and Shaq supporters smh. To think Kobe had to deal with this guy also

Your right 100%. But Shaq rather promote Brook/Robin Lopez and want to help out Javale Mcgee get better but not look out for the franchise he won 3 rings with and help our next great center get better. People call Kobe selfish but this guys mannerism take it to a whole notha level IMO

It is easy for him to promote those peers he finds no threat from. It is a fake promotion I deem it because if they were making similar numbers as him and heading to la with possibility of winning multiple championships (like dwight) he would be an ass to them as well. He saw Bynum as no threat and he was being talked about being shipped out of la since two years ago , so thus he has good things to say about Bynum. I recall earlier shaq wasn't too fond of Bynum even two years ago.
Yes Dwight calls himself superman but get over it. Superman is such a common nickname I have had some college dorm mates called "batman" or "superman" for whatever they did to deserve it and shaq is just an immature person about it. I'm same age as shaq and I'm not saying I'm the most mature in life but he just doesn't get it.

I actually think shaq may suffer a mild form of autism. Seriously. It is not a put down I know a couple people who have milder forms of autism and are fully functional in life but socially can be a little self absorbed and out there on a regular basis. They dont know it. Add 300 million dollars and world wide attention and you get a repetitive, highly non-conversational (one-sided conversation), and circularly induced speech pattern like in shaq.
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

It's always said when a player's actions post-retirement start to taint your memories of him as a player.

These exact same words coming from a center who didn't win a championship with and leave the Los Angeles would not carry as much weight. If these statements bother you, it has more to do with your feelings towards O'Neal than the actual thing going on between the two centers. This isn't going to be the worst thing said towards Howard this season. He needs to learn to deal with it.

Shaq always wants to entertain. I don't think he really cares that d12 did exactly what he did as far as to go from orl to la and that they're both dominant centers. I feel shaq wants attention and to stir up controversy. That's what skip bayless does. He don't need to help Dwight. He owes nothing to him. Since they have similarities, he'll keep bothering d12 and saying he needs rings before u ever compare d12 to him.

Shaq's worked hard all his life to be the best at things, even that show he stole from Nash kinda shows it. He feels his territory threatened and has convinced himself that Dwight Howard isn't that great of a player. It's actually kinda cool because we all have these different delusions in our own lives, I guess this one's Shaq's. He just thinks he's better than everyone & his opinion is more important.

In that segment I felt he was disrespectful to Reggie Miller as well as Chuck. The guy should learn some humility and be more humble, not just out of respect for other people, but out of respect for himself. If one's constantly thinking everyone is challenging them and can't appreciate another person's abilities or opinions, that person will be unhappy in life and cannot reach inner peace.

I don't think O'Neal is saying all of these things to entertain the audience. He's really being petty. Of course, it's only effective because there are fans foolish enough to buy into it.

I just think Shaq hates how people call Dwight Howard superman. When Howard has not accomplished much aside from his DPOY's. He hates how Dwight has been propped up as the best center without ever having won anything. I don't love or hate either of them, but I think that's it. Shaq hates how Howard is the "new" Shaq.

Based on his history of saying quotable things, O'Neal has a lot more emotions than just one.

That's not going to happen, especially with his words still being able to generate responses from people.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
