Regular season 2012 stats
Steve Blake
PPG 5.2
FG% 37%
APG 3.3
3FG% .335
MPG 23.3
Chris Duhon
PPG 3.8
FG% .419
APG 2.4
3FG% .420
MPG 19.5
To me this is one of the biggest issues and decisions were gonna encounter this up and coming season. We need to be able to rely on one of these guys to keep Nash at no more than 30mpg in the regular season. Duhon is a better on ball defender and quicker (which isnt a big whoopie) but Blake isn't afraid to at least take big shot open 3 (evident OKC regular season game at Staples and Denver series). Although Duhon shot better from the field and 3fg% its a reason why he didnt play more than 20mpg in Orlando. No matter what you guys want this is the options we have to choose from. Both guys have a problem breaking there man down and getting to the basket and to me that's whats gonna hurt the other players on the 2nd unit more than anything. We know definitely Darius Morris isnt getting any burn.
So pick one Blake or Duhon?
