Hill was in pain and putting a heat pad on his back on the bench late in the game in Fresno last night.

Damn this really sucks, I hope it is not half as extreme as Dwight's injury. Hopefully he will be back by the beginning of the regular season.

SMHHHH...Sacre is definitely a lock now to make the team but we need Jordan Hill I hope it isnt a longterm issue. But in most cases back injuries are. What a bummer.


BTW I really think we should give Kmart a call now lol

Herniations and back injuries in general are pretty complicated. Mine the disk was pretty ruptured and pinched a nerve, but I just did rest and rehab for a few weeks. Took me about a month for my back to feel decent but the nerve damage has never really gone away. They can be minor, 3-6 weeks, or major 3-6 months :/ I think Amare was out what 4-5 weeks last year?

The health of this team is going to be so critical how far the Lakers go this year. This news sucks. I hope it isn't serious.

Yea, depending on how bad it is, Hill might be healed due to rest in a month or he might need surgery. I've had my problems for years and it never healed (2 discs herniated, same one as Hill pinching my nerve, and the one above it not being as bad) and I'm finally getting surgery for it, with 2-3 month recovery time.

Hope Hill can get better soon, we need him and he's been balling

Hope he recovers soon, and stay away from D12 - team has enough bad karma.
