Actually he put SA first, and OKC 3rd. I don't put a lot of thought into his rankings. He had Denver 2nd last year and SA 6th.

He puts too much emphasis on depth when it hardly matters when your starting lineup plays the 3/4rs of the minutes anyways and 4/5 of them in the playoffs on an 8 or 9 men rotation.

I could theoretically see it if we end up playing the season essentially to try and preserve our starters as much as possible for the playoffs. I'm under the impression from what I've heard that top-heavy teams do much better in the playoffs than the regular season so that logic could also help explain that ranking.

That's the problem.

I don't disagree with him. Our bench is utrter and complete garbage. Remember when we use to think, "when kobe isn't on the floor, we struggle?". Not it feels like if we don't have Nash we're gonna struggle. And damn our bench stinks.

We're a legit 9 deep on this teams. You cant go by the preseason because players and lineups that will never touch the floor in the regular season and playoffs are out there. We'll be fine and btw that dominant center hasnt even touched the court yet.

we'll be using a 9 men rotation for the playoffs with the bench players being Jamison, Hil, Meeks or Ebnaks/ Blake.

Hardly anything to complain about when you combine it with that starting lineup.
