He's probably going to run only for 15-20 minutes tops. Will be surprised if he even reaches 15 minutes. Tonight's objective should be to clean up some of the defensive glitches from the previous game. Overall we were better though. Looking for Ebanks to prove Friday wasn't some fluke job, in order for him to get regular minutes he has to stay consistent. It won't always be about his scoring, but rebound and bring the D.

hopefully he sees more than 15-20:

John Ireland @LAIreland

Just taped Mike Brown--coming up on ESPNLA 710. Says not only will Dwight Howard play tonight, he'll play w no minute restrictions.

More Brown:"I think I'll play him until his tongue falls out-he needs to get in game shape." Also says starters play regular minutes tonight

Brown don't **** this up. I'm good if his tongue falls off, not his back.

this will be a good one. excited how the starters play with Dwight. if Pau will be as aggressive as last game, if MWP will be much more conscious of his spacing defensively knowing if he gets beat he has Dwight there and if he'll move more inside knowing Dwight will get the attention, how Kobe will adjust off ball, and Nash I'm not even that concerned with his playmaking. it can only go up from here.

as for the bench, I want to see consistency from Ebanks, efficiency from Jamison and Meeks and prove LA didn't waste $$$ and the other bench to start to show up.

and Sacre's adjustment now that the alpha C has come back.

to be fair, howard himself has been saying for a week or two now that the only thing holding him back was conditioning, not the back.

True, but then he went on to say that without it is when injuries start happening, and he's absolutely correct. A tired Howard could just as easily re-aggravate his back if they're not careful. I'm talking about Brown of course but also his teammates. Remember, 2 of Bynum's injuries were caused in part by Kobe and Odom. And Kobe sprained that ligament in his wrist last year trying to show the crowd he got his hops back.

Let's just hope we can make it to the start of the regular season without any issues. Take it one game at a time.

well conditioning is pretty subjective. it may be a 10-20 mins of playing time for Dwight to get the feeling back but it can be 30-35 for Brown.

he loves his vets so much.
