Dont trade everyone, just GASOFT. Can't wait for him to be gone, he refuses to block blake griffin as he abuses him all game. He just acts like a soft @$$ B!tch every possession when blake griffin beats him to the rim. Please Mitch trade him for Josh Smith

He's being real though... Besides the bench Pau deserves a ton of blame. Straight up playing passively.

I, for one, would not say no to this. But I vehemently disagree with anyone who argues Pau is done. He quite clearly isn't. He's been the second best player on offense through the last 11 games, just as one would figure him to be. The Princeton is perfectly suited to his talents, but nothing's going to change the fact that he's better off playing in the post, where Dwight is.

Time to sell him while he still has value. Coming off a huge silver medal performance in the Olympics where he averaged over 20/10 a game, he'd be a great second fiddle to Rose (when he returns) in Chi-town or playing with his brother in Memphis.

So what do you think would be a good trade for Pau if he is going to the Bulls?

Deng and cash, honestly Pau Gasol may be the SOFTEST player in the entire league. Can anyone think of someone who is more soft than Pau Gasol in the league today?

Deng/Hinrich wouldn't look bad at all in my book. Would need a third team though to take Blake/Duhon and and we'd have to give up Metta. It's not the sexiest trade in the world, but is it realistic? Yes. Do the pieces fit? Absolutely.

As for someone softer than Pau? Hmm...Chris Bosh, duh.

Last year, when there was some talk about Bulls interest in trading for Gasol, I didn't see much sense to it. But this scenario makes no sense whatsoever. Basketball-wise, the Bulls already have a soft, bumslaying PF in Boozer, and they signed Gibson to between $8 and 9.5M/ year. Furthermore, this is a recovery year for Rose, and presumably Gasol would be even more "done" next year, when Rose will hopefully be back to 100%. Plus, it'd leave the Bulls without any bona fide starter at SF; and it's noteworthy that Thibs leans very heavily on Deng as the glue to his defensive scheme.

And then there's the money, where everyone knows the Bulls throw nickels around like manhole covers.

Hold up there. You claim how obvious it is the Bulls FO likes to pinch pennies, yet then you present an argument in which, if that's the case, the points you present can't all be true simultaneously?

Surely, no one expects this move would be the only one the Bulls would make. Nothing is ever that simple, and no roster change happens in a vacuum. Then wouldn't it stand to reason that the Bulls, ever the frugal organization they are, could just trade Noah and/or finally amnesty Boozer as they've hinted towards doing since last December? Wouldn't allowing Pau to play out the rest of his contract at C allow them to make a bigger splash in free agency in 2014 than they're otherwise poised to do?

You said yourself that they were essentially conceding their chances this year. So, when all this is taken into account, how does this still make no sense whatsoever? Did you think we'd be the only team in the league circling July 2014 on our calendars?
