Chris Duhon

Post#1 » by Lakers8 » Fri Nov 9, 2012 6:32 am

I haven't had a chance to watch many games yet this season so im a bit out of the news but is there any reason Chris Duhon doesnt play?? The guy has been a starter in past teams and is a good player, Morris however is probably the worst NBA player i have ever seen!

wow did you mean to put good player and Chris Duhon in the same sentence or did you mean maybe one of our other bench players who isn't getting burn?

Just doesnt make sense to me why we prefer going with Morris over Duhon (even if were trying to move him) at this current time. I'll be more ok with a lineup of Duhon, Meeks, Ebanks, Jamison and Jordan Hill for the 2nd unit. Or at least keep 1 or 2 of the starts in their alternated. Maybe when Nash is healthy try to keep either him or Kobe in the rotation to keep a playmaker on the court

Duhon has better playmaker ability than freaking Darius Morris. And at least Duhon knows when to pass the damn ball instead of dribbling it around and jacking up a low percentage shot that most likely will hit all glass and no rim.

trust me, after having to watch that dude the past few seasons, count yourself lucky that he isn't seeing the floor. When you ask yourself: how much worse can it get? You will receive your answer when Duhon sees minutes. MUCH, MUCH worse than you could have ever imagined.

Can Morris run? If so he is better.

Chris Duhon is making the players on the bench sitting around him worse through osmosis. Getting rid of him is what made losing Dwight palatable.

Morris is way better than Duhon and has upside, unlike Duhon who will only get worse

Morris plays with intensity on both ends of the floor, and can knock down open shots. Duhon is the perfect 15th man because he can't do anything that well, but if he absolutely has to come in he probably won't f*** anything up that bad hopefully

If Chris Duhon is the answer, I don't want to know the question.

After suffering through a couple of years watching Duhon, consider it a blessing that he has yet to see the floor.

Last year he was arguably the worst PG I have ever seen, and I have been watching the NBA since the late 60's..

Couldn't even dribble the ball anymore......

Duhon sucks but I'm not buying into Morris even after yesterday's "good game". The guy is a terrible passer, can't get past his defender in the half court offense, doesn't have a consistent jumpshot and can't finish at the rim. The only thing I've liked is his man-to-man defense. However, his team defense is terrible. This kid will be out of the league in 2 years.

Duhon is the kind of PG Phil may like. If he's forced to make correct passes in a system, run P and R once in a while, and play hard D he may in fact take the backup job from Blake. I want Morris to do it but the problem with him is that he's too out of control. In another year maybe he has a chance but for now I don't see it.

Blake on the other hand I can see traded for help at another spot. Perhaps a SF that can shoot.
