I believe the Lakers first round draft pick belongs to the Cavs. Might be wrong. Just wonder if anyone knows if it is lottery protected..

Please do not rule the out for a slow start. Phil Jackson will return to the Lakers and the Lakers will adjust to the new membership of Howard, Nash and company. Coaching changes will take place in the NBA because it is a business that is predicated on winning and the coach's ability to blend talent with professionalism and compatiability with the players. This is just 5-6 games into the season so let us wait for Phil Jackson and the Lakers will rise up and compete once in the Western Conference Title.

Yet after all that we might not get out of the west alive. Also we still have problems with this team with age, health, and depth because we don't have any of that right now, and if we don't get it then OKC will put us out of the playoffs again.
