Will Jodie Meeks get more playing time?

We know that D'Antoni likes to surround the PG with shooters and next to Nash, Meeks is the best spot-up shooter on the team. What do you guys think? Is he going to get some decent PT (15+ min) or is he doomed to be on the bench even under Mike D?

We can count on it. I'm thinking a lot of 3-guard lineups with Kobe slid to the small forward slot. At least until another shooter is signed.

What do you think the odds are that Duhon sees a resurgence and takes over backup PG duties?
He seems excited about the coaching change.

He played the best ball of his career under D'Antoni in New York so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some run. If he can give us half that production at the backup PG spot that would be great. I'm calling it right now, D'Antoni is going to make everyone a contributor.

If Jodie Meeks keeps shooting the way he is I'd prefer if he didnt but Im sure he will regain his touch

Duhon should be the backup now, his 3PT% last year was 42! if he can do that again it would be fantastic.

Would be great to see both Duhon and Meeks get some solid run, while performing at a high level for the bench mob.

I watched Meeks quite a bit when he was here in the Mil as a rook, he can fill it up but is streaky as all hell.

Excited to see what Mike D can get from both of them.

Of course he'll get more time. I don't think we fully comprehend how (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Mike Browns rotations were.

Id rather see Duhon as the backup than Blake for the simple fact that Blake is hesitant to shoot the wrong times

this signing not only helps nash, but it also tremendously helps duhon

duhon looked serviceable in NY

also, shooters in meeks, jamison (at backup 4) and whoever's "hot" will tend to get more PT as well

biggest loser? jordan hill

either he'll need to be limited to backup center minutes or he's going to get better shooting that 18 ft jumper

agree with aki about jordan hill possibly getting the short end of the stick. it'll be up to jamison to surrender the minutes that are probably gonna get handed to him at the 4.

You see, and that's unfortunate, knowing that one of the primary reasons he re-upped with us at all was because the FO stood behind him during his assault charges and Brown gave him a fresh start. Now, it looks like he's weeks away from going on the trade block.

I hope not, he is a complete disappointment

Seems like for every good move Mitch does, he counters with a mistake. Though I won't burn him up over it, but Meeks is awful. I'd rather see Devin get his minutes or hell go get Glock back at least he could stick a few shoots.

streak shooters need confidence. not playing the guy probably won't do him much good considering he's a guaranteed contract and we'll probably need him in the POs

No wonder mb kept'd his ass on the bench this guy sucks. he's almost like Shannon Brown minus the athleliticism, if he's not making shots he's completely useless.

**** A 0 points 3 turnovers, really

Disappointing so far but I think with Nash and dantoni he can find his groove (offensively). He's streaky as many shooters are but it's still early. I remember reading in SI (quoting synergy?) he had the highest % for spot up shooting in the league last season. We certainly need to give him a chance with the options we have.
