minnesota is looking to move derrick williams.. asking for pau.. got this off the minnesota headlines.. any thoughts.. i say throw metta at them an see what they say he's a DNP CDs they have no use for him.

trading Pau for Derrick Williams makes us a worse team, and there is no reason for them to accept metta

If the Lakers can get rid of Blake and get another shooter, then I might think about it

It would give us a good big man rotation for the future with Dwight, Hill, Williams BUT it seriously would hurt our win now prospects. Throw in Alexv Shved and Andrei Kirelenko and it might be worthwhile to use in the short term.

Lakers aren't about to get rid of their only legit defensive wing who is having a rebound year for an out of position Derrick Williams at the 3

To say Pau is having a rebound year is pretty premature, but generally speaking trading starters for DNPs is not a recipe for success.

No way, when Pau actually tries he is way better then Williams.

Derrick Williams is a phenomenal 3 point shooter. Something we desperately need. I'm all for it if we try to get him and another piece.

He played the 4 at Arizona and he's most comfortable at that position. Adelman wants to make him into a 3 that's why people are saying he sucks because he's not a 3. He even said in a article that he's trying to lose weight so he can be better suited for the 3 since Adelman only has minutes in that position.

People that are saying Pau is better than Williams is probably right for now, but after a couple of years we're going to look back and say wow why didn't we trade for him just like we're doing now with all those trade rumors swirling around during the draft.

why the hell would Minnesota do that trade? Pau for D will is not worth it now on our WIN NOW roster and MWP for D Will is ludicrous for Minny.

I swear if I could force all of you pro Derrick Williams LA fans to watch anything other than Laker games I would. You dudes are aware that Williams started at the 4 for 9 games this year and looked so bad he was benched. Lou Admonson is now in the rotation over him. Pau may not be playing great but he is still more productive than Derrick Williams by far. Please swear off LA games for 2 weeks and watch other teams.

I think the Laker fans who would consider this deal are forgetting
that our general manger is Mitch Kupchak.

If we're dishing Pau to Minny please believe he'd be gunning to acquire Kevin Love while probably using the Spanish connection factor ( Pau/Rubio) as part of his negotiation.

An oh I know it's a pipe dream and its a hell no for the Twolves organization and their fans but we've seen questionable acquisitions happen all the time with Mitch's magic wand.
