Howard to smiles way too much, which has been the knock on him since his days with the Magic. Its like he does not take the game seriously, which to me is not the champion ship attitude. What do my fellow Laker fans of realgm think? I know he got 28 pts and 20 rebs but, I would to see the serious side on the court.

Doesnt bother me one bit. Kobe is serious enough for everyone. If smiling helps D12 be the beast that he is so be it.

If you think he doesn't give 100% because he's not sneering, you're not watching the games bra

Didn't want to create a thread for this so now I'm glad someone else did another Dwight related thread.

ESPN LA's Ramona Shelbourne did an interview with Dwight based on his thoughts on his upcoming game against his former team.

D12 also mentioned how he loves being a Laker.

When the subject turned to his new team, Howard's mood noticeably brightened, and he offered his strongest comments to date about the likelihood he'd sign a long-term extension with Los Angeles in the summer.

"From one to 10? I'd give it a good 12. I love it. It's been a lot of fun," Howard said. "Just everything here, from the practices, the motivation of everybody here is championship, that's what we need.

"I like the direction we're headed. We've had some tough losses but we'll learn and we'll grow from it. We're going to stick together."

Not sure how much of a guarantee this can be bought
into the notion he'll sign long term with us.

Nonetheless, I think it's fair to say that we all knew the chances were pretty high while
bringing him that he was planning on being a Laker for life.

Pretty much just how D12 is, it bothers me too, but as long as he balls up, I do not have a huge issue with it.

It's not a problem for as long as we have Kobe. I actually kind of like it...it's nice to see him having fun out there...it's annoying when we are losing and he's having a ball, but when he's scoring 28 points and grabbing 20 rebounds in a winning effort, he deserves to laugh as much as he wants.

He can't help it, he really loves being out there, it has nothing to do with his effort level. If anything it's a nice tactic against opposing players who can see his smiling and be lulled into a false sense of security and let their own guard down.
