You really think this random scrub High School coach knows more than an NBA coach making a few million a year?

Pretty dumb reply
No, but it is obvious what he shows. isn't it?
Mike Dantoni that make a few million a year... is losing big time.
You know, Justin Bieber is making millions and it doesn't make better musician/singer than some ramdom High School chorus guy.
Don't smart ass-me please
I bet there's hundreds of random scrub people out there that are better basketball analyst than any of the lakers assistant coaches

You mean the say assistant coaches that were hired to run Mike Brown's defense/modified Princeton that D'Antoni is pretty much stuck with?
Any 3rd grader could tell you our defense is full of holes. We're slow on rotations and can't keep guards out of the paint.
We're also missing two starters and our backup point guard.
We're also on our second head coach this season.

its funny how he says nash wont fix a lot of our problems when he points out specifically in that video several instances of duhon just having no idea what hes doing. nash might not be the best defensive point guard but he at least understands and applies basic defensive concepts that duhon does not. one thing thats really underrated about nash's defense is how he rotates and usually makes the smart defensive play. no hes not the best against iso guards and no he doesnt have the best foot speed, but a lot of the mistakes duhon makes nash will not.
and of course this is ignoring all of our points off turnovers and bad shots that lead to easy buckets for the other team. i like how he conveniently ignored that.

A few things you left out...
Most of our team should be retired by now... Kobe, Artest and Jamison...
And our one stud, Howard, still isn't 100% recovered from back surgery.
All in all not a good recipe for success to start the season.
I am confident, and so are all of you guys I'm sure, that we will get a lot better as the season progresses but I'm not confident we'll reach the point where we become a serious threat to contend for a championship.

A classic case of somebody believing their smarter than an actual NBA coach. SMDH.

Tell every single person on RGM who has hated on Mike Brown/D'Antoni to stfu since they know more than us about everything and do nothing wrong.
I just saw the 2nd video and this guy is on point. When watching our last few losses I was thinking about making a video of Kobe's defensive lapses but glad I don't have to. Good stuff, and we are an embarrassment to team defense.

everyone seems to be a "pro analyzes" AFTER the results are in with the "i knew it" and " i told you" comical. Lets see where youre at after nash/pau are back and the lakers in contentions.

this guys videos have always been on point. I wonder if any teams have ever contacted him about a job working as one of the video guys. Kobe deserves to be called out for his horrendous effort on defense. Its the same effort for the past two seasons now and nothing has changed so obviously nobody has said enough to him to get him to play with more effort.

The video is fine, but it's not that hard to compile a video of Laker mistakes this season, there are so many to choose from. Not saying NBA coaches are beyond criticism, but it's really not analysis to say, "look the Lakers didn't close out here and gave Orlando a wide open 3. What a poor job!" Most of the posters on this board could do the same thing.
But yeah, Lakers seem equally disjointed on offensive and defensive ends. The offense will get better with Nash, not sure how much yet. Just as important is figuring out a way for the big 4 to all find some sort of comfort zone in the offense (Gasol!!) The defense will get better with Howard's recovery, he still looks stiff and is not the dominant 'goaltender' he's been in past seasons. Now he has to overcommit, and slow Laker rotations then lead to easy shots.
I'm not expecting a miracle on either end though. Our older vets are fine individually, but collectively when your starting 5 has so much mileage it has an effect.
