In the old days we could count on such love from the refs but Kobe is treated like a step child these days... Part of Stern's conspiracy to keep Kobe from catching Jordan at 6 championships.
Darius Morris and Jodie Meeks are the the perfects cat to have chasing Curry all over the court. I'm more concerned with our bigs getting the better of the likes of David Lee. If we can control the paint we have a decent shot to win.
Pau might be the odd man out tonight though. Against an athletic young team like GS having a lumbering big like Pau on the court might be too much of a liability if he can't find his range and knock down 18 footers. Put Ron at pf and Kobe at sf and we have a decent shot of keeping up with these guys imho.

kobe lost credibility with the refs a long time ago and he has himself to blame for that. To this day, he complains on almost every play there is contact (even when he gets the call). Even as a fan of his, its not fun to watch this. Its only normal for refs to look the other way on 50-50 calls.
early in his career Kobe got the benefit of the calls but when he started to demand the calls and show up the refs, he lost the benefit of the doubt.
Its funny, but even in nba2k13 you can hear his vintage "heeeeeey!"

he said chances are low, some reporters are saying to bet on it since his main issue is conditioning and he'll probably want at least some minimal action before the x-mas day game which nash said he'll for sure be playing in.
