First of all, I don't have any problem with commentators, analyst that criticize our team, no problem with that, and I'm cool with bARKLEY'S some stupid comments towards the lakers, even magic criticized the lakers, no problem with shaq, cwebb, 3d and their negative comments but damn this bill simmons!!

I don't think he has a clue about basketball, I don't even think he plays basketball!! (not that playing is a huge factor when criticizing or commenting coz you got the very hot Hannah Storm who's in espn also-she's fine and I'm fine with her) back to bill simmons, he is a nerd or weird guy, he does not have a life when he talks and he always criticize the Lakers even yesterday when Magic praised the lakers he interrupted magic's speech and said something negative about lakers then praised the Heat, Lebron OKC and KD!

It is what it is. He works for ESPN and he is a Celtic homer. Anything Kobe and Laker related will get bashed. Any novice sports fan will fall for his crap. I tuned the guy out long ago. He is knowledgeable of the game of basketball but his obvious homerism and bias can turn alot of Lakerfans off. Before reading or listening to his work/podcast if u already expect that he's gonna take a shot at Kobe and the Lakers you'll be ok.

You should read his article comparing the broken down Kobe of last season to prime MVP Iverson. That might change your opinion. He's an excellent writer.

He's a Celtic and Clippers fan who cannot write a single article without mentioning Lebron at least five times. Despite that and like Dock said he's much easier to listen to than Magic who is reactionary to every thing.

His articles are good. But he's blinded by his love of the celtics.

He's funny tho, I'll give him that. He's not that bad, he tries to be sensible.

No i actually like him. He's a bigtime homer, but he admits it and you already expect his bias when reading his material. Yet he is a great writer and is pretty funny, and it's not like he never gives the Lakers/Kobe credit...he just gives it in his own backhanded way. I like everything he writes non-Lakers/Boston related, and I even read his Laker material but I read it expecting heavy bias and sometimes I still get a little frustrated. But like someone else said, he's way better than magic

I heard Legler defending Kobe a week ago when everyone was throwing out the stupid as **** "Lakers are 1-100 when Kobe scores 30+ points" and I don't know if I've heard Legler ever being biased or anything.

Also, I love Bill Simmons

He dislikes the Lakers, however he makes that known. He's also a realist and gives us credit when it's due.

His articles are awesome. He's probably my favorite sports writer, heck of a lot better than Plaschke or Simers.
