Josh Childress

Post#1 » by Dagameplaya PnG » Sun Dec 30, 2012 5:23 pm

If I remember correctly he was doing pretty good alongside Steve Nash in Phoenix. So now that he's available do you think LA should sign him?

Once I found out that he was waived, I knew there will be another thread like this.

No thanks. Doesn't help any of our current weaknesses and we already have two underachieving reserve SFs in Earl Clark and Devin Ebanks.

No we don't need him, and every time a guy that played with Steve gets waived doesn't mean he's a good fit here. You have to consider the other 4 players on the floor. Childress is a volume shooter, he needs shots to be effective, he's not gonna even get 10 shots here. These are things I look at when evaluating a player.

This is a sad story right here to me. Classic case of a player losing his basketball confidence. Guy really could ball at one time and has super fallen off smh :-?

He played horrific next to Steve Nash in phoenix. what on earth are you talking aboit? He played well im Atlanta. if anything playing with nash is what ruined his career, he hasnt been the same since so no i dont want him at all next to nash.

it looks like Daequan Cook is gonna get cut by Houston... that is someone we might look at

The answer is no. This team needs time to jell as a group. Earl Clark I wish he would get a few minutes just to see what he can do. 6'10, he got to have something worth in his game.

He just was not a good player anymore. He cannot shoot at all. He could still get some offensive rebounds and has some athletic ability though. He played as a sub in Phoenix and did not play with Nash much at all. The Suns gave him a chance but he does not bring much anymore. Nice guy though.

If Cook is going to get let go we need to bring him in. We could use another shooter

rumor is anderson is getting signed and cook will be cut... he can't go back to OKC so i guess he would be an option.

Josh Childress would be a good addition but the Lakers need more than Childress. This team is old and there are many defiences. The Lakers need a complete overhaul many of the key players are old and probably have played their best basketball. Howard has been up and down and is just a reflection of what he use to be and does he fit into the Lakers' system. These are some minor obsevations. The Lakers are a good team and will make the playoffs and will provide a competitive effort for the fans.
