I guess Phil has finally given in as most men in his situation would do.

He will forever be tied to the Lakers and he will be married to a billionaire'ess ex playboy model who happens to be a family owner to the Lakers!

Not bad

This gives further perspective to the Jim/Phil rift.

So now Phil finally figures out what was blocking all that "upper management" stuff, like Beyonce said "put a ring on it".

Calling it now, with in a year and a half Phil will be President of Basketball Operations.

I was thinking, it's probably a bit of a formality at this point... I think after 7 years, California pretty much considers you married ring or no...

Yeah it is just a formality but try convincing a woman of that.

You know if i were Jim, my mother would have warned me of having any business dealings with Phil as he is basically an extended family member and if business relationships go south you still have to sit next to the family member at Thanksgiving time so it's best not to even put one's self in that position.

They don't have to eat thanksgiving dinner together... they're not a regular family like yours. Phil and Jeanie would probably fly to Montana and celebrate there.
