so Dwight's playing? I'm concerned with the match ups. if Dwight's not playing, I want Pau to start at C, Ron to get physical with Faried to disrupt his rhythm, Ebanks to lock down on Gallinari, Kobe on Iguodala, and Nash on Lawson.

PG matchup is critical. as well as the D on Nuggets PnR. hoping on Nash to turn his scrub teammates to All Stars.

Yep, as close to a must win as a team can have so early in the season. The Lakers MUST at least split the DEN HOU games. They will quickly find themselves 5-6 games out of a playoff spot if they lose those two.

Teams are just going to attack our weakness which is Pau Gasol. Thats what they did last time.

How many must win games have we lost already?

Wasn't Utah a must win game at home after a disappointing road trip where we gave away that game to the Rockets?

Wasn't the game right after that in Cleveland a must win game for losing another embarrassing game at Staples?

Wasn't Philly a must win game knowing that our schedule would get tougher?

I don't think this team has a "must win" mentality. They currently sound like a bunch of whiny little girls that want to blame someone else for mistakes. There's no accountability at all. Just excuses.

Anyway, I get the feeling that I'm going to be cursing our FC players throughout the game as we give up 2nd chance point after 2nd chance point, especially if Howard is going to be out.

These games are all becoming must wins, but especially tonight because they are chasing Denver.

Yeah all these games are games we have to win period. The Lakers pissed away their chance at having those "off" nights of just not caring, and I get that all teams do that during the season. Hell Popovich doesn't even try to hide it, if he fells his guys needs a night off he just say's "F you schedule".

The Lakers aren't afforded that anymore, they gotta start bust'in ass and do it quickly.

Faried is the key. I'd start J. Hill to match his energy. Tired of seeing him use Pau like a rag doll
