Focused Kobe on both ends of the floor is still something to deal with. Let's see if he can still keep the intensity going. But I do love it.

Bucks fans think Tobias Harris is similar to Carmelo... Don't have any clue why Moute was even playing when they should of put in Harris and posted him up the entire night... Moute is pretty non existent on O and for some reason did not guard Kiobe at all int he first half. No reason for him to even be playing. But Nash held his own and more surprisingly, Earl Clark bothered Monta. Monta should of easily went for 30 on him... GG overall though and the league is better when people hate the greatness of the Lakers. If they somehow become focused and get some bench pieces by the deadline, they will be a force to reckon with in the playoffs... BTW, Lakers must go 30 and 14 to get to 47 wins and have a chance at the playoffs. I think it's possible if they catch fire and keep up the focus. To make their cances better, I don't think they should wait until the trade deadline to make changes and should be actively looking for moves right now...

Forget Nick the Quick and the Diesel. Maybe soon it will be Dwight and Jennings underachieving in LA.

Kobe looked tired as fu.ck with 3 minutes left in the first quarter. I don't know how will handle this level of effort as the season continues.

He'll get used to it. The thing that helps is that Nash will handle the offense and we'll feature alot more Dwight in the post. So Kobe can just pick his spots on the offensive end. Like we've been saying Kobe can still score 25ppg in his sleep but on less shots and more efficiency. This team needs him to play great onball D on these PG's

when the deer got the ball, mamba's D was great but off the ball D of mamba was lousy and poor as **** because he always help, and he is always focus on the ball or the ball handler instead of his man.. plenty of cuts, rolls that mamba was left behind or maybe I should say did not bother to work.

Jennings 4-14 FG and 1-7 3pt... Not too shabby.

hopefully this happens to kobe:
move him to pg.....
thats what i would do......
he would totally dominate all pg's on offense and defense.....
and this mismatch would totally take the other team out of their game.....for example
kobe / chalmers
(well, first of all.....lakers gotta trade nash and/or pau....and pick up a sg in return - the likes of shumpert)
so....lakers vs okc / san / lac / mia / nyk
lal pg: kobe vs westbrook / t.parker / c.paul / chalmers / kidd ------- kobe can easily score on/guard them
lal sg: shumpert vs kev.martin / ginobili / jam.crawford / wade / sg would become jr.smith.......and shump can defensively contain each one of these sg's
lal sf: worldpeace vs durant / s.jackson / c.butler / l.james / c.anthony ........ worldpeace will give a max effort
so.....if any of these teams put their sg on kobe.......their pg will have to guard shumpert........
so.....shumpert vs westbrook / t.parker / c.paul / chalmers / kidd .......still.........shumpert can offensively win these matchups all day........
so either these teams will 1) have to take their point guards out of the game.......in order to put in a bigger lineup to adjust to this lakers strategy.........or 2) put their pg's to guard shumpert (im using him for an example of an sg that i think would be a good fit next to kobe playing pg).....but shumpert could take those pg's too...see ?
so.....this is why i put kobe at pg.....final
edit: but if the lakers don't get the proper sg to put next to him, it's pointless....so that also must be done
edit again: here is a great trade (for the lakers at least) that would be ideal for this whole scenerio i just proposed.....
p.gasol, nash /for/ iguodala, a.miller, c.brewer....
maybe the lakers can add in a draft pick if denver doesn't want to do this straight up...

He's able to guard the opposition's best guard because he can play off the ball on offense and not worry about playmaking, dealing Nash does not accomplish anything.

don't see at all how the current 7th or 8th seed get to 47 wins right now. Both Houston and Portland have tough schedules coming up and neither are even on pace to get to 47 wins at the moment.

don't know if this was addressing the comment i made.......
but yes, if kobe is going to start at pg.......nash is not going to be my backup....me, personally, not mine
my reason: money
my backup isn't going to make that much money
and plus, what i just remembered
most importantly
he is necessary actually to deal - in order to help get a top notch sg

Kobe isn't starting at PG, Kobe's just guarding the opposing team's back court ball handler on defense.
