New Member saying "Hello!"

Hey Laker fam, I've been a longtime lurker (was around before the kalel/star24 fiasco), and finally decided to join in on the fun. I've actually only been a huge Laker fan since '94 when the Lakers drafted a quiet, skinny little Eddie Jones from Temple. Before that, I, like many others, were in constant awe of Jordan himself.

I'm not a huge poster myself, but I look forward to continuing to read many of your well-informed and analytical posts. And considering a lot of Laker fans are on suicide watch this season, I figured now is as good of a time to be as supportive to the Laker community as possible.

Eddie Jones was one of my favorite players back in the day. Welcome!

I don't remember so much of the star stuff except he was annoying.

I appreciate the sentiment. And as long as I've been lurking, I feel the same way about many of the posters here.

Absurdity is a good word. Black is white. Up is down. The Lakers aren't in contention for a playoff spot. What's next?

Welcome to the board EJ! It's been a rough season but Lakers faithful aren't giving up1

Before the season started I was really looking forward to how much fun it was going to be around here as the playoffs began. Playoffs? smh!

You mean the GB right LT ? Cause that's where the most ignorant of ignorant posters live. You get some smart ones but it's only a few.

It's really true isn't it? Nash's fluke injury. Brown firing. MDA hiring. Hill's injury. Dwight's labrum/shoulder. Pau's nose/cranium. Blake's injury.

All just too much for this team to overcome when they're trying to learn a new system with a new coach and new players. A slow start would have been fine but the anemic start we had is just too much. Perhaps if we were a younger team we could make a charge during the 2nd half of the season but we're banged up and running on tired old legs. I just don't see us turning into a .750 team overnight. This is one time I very much hope I'm wrong.

This!

I find it kind of odd, that the Laker fans or kobe fans are trolls, but Kobe basher and Laker bashing is welcomed in the GB. OP, beware of the GB boards, stay in here if you want some real Laker talk
