Pelicans is more original and cool. Hornets is too much like the Green Hornet. Hornets are small little insect. A Pelican is unique and kind of cool. And Brown Pelican, is the state bird. Honestly I am more afraid of a pelican than a hornet. I could slap kill a hornet, a Pelican would eat my hand off(at least block it).

Utah should give back the Jazz name, cause there is nothing Jazzy about that team(who losses by 45 in this day and age). They should be called Seagulls, cause that is their state bird, and seagulls are just annoying birds that nobody really likes(like the jazz). New Orleans Jazz just sounds awesome.

+ 100000000!

We still have the same vulnerabilities and weaknesses we've just done a great job of hiding them the last two games. Keep the pace slow and the number of possessions down and we should be fine.

Keep playing our post game and we'll be fine. I expect Dwight to have a huge game. ...just a feeling I got.

New Orleans just beat the Grizz in Memphis, their a good young hard working team with a really good coach, this is a must win to keep the playoff hopes alive

Dwight should have huge games every time we play teams with smaller, less physical front courts. I believe NO to be one of those types of teams.

We can afford 7 losses the rest of the way 10 losses at the absolute max if we're to make the playoffs. We can afford zero losses at home against teams like NO! Even one could be enough to end out season. We have to hope to avoid teams luckboxing good shooting nights against us. Hopefully our slowdown offense will prevent other teams from getting into a good flow/rhythm offensively.

over/under on kobe:
1. getting 6.5 assists
2. shooting 40%

i personally think kobe is thinking shoot first on the pelicans

Over/over

Over/under 30 mins?

We have a back to back,I'm really hoping for a blowout here and low minutes for the starters

Kobe has shot zero 3's the past two games and the Lakers won both games. There's no reason to think he's going to change what he's been doing the past two games. So to answer your questions over on both.

Come out with intensity and don't have a let down after big win over OKC.
It would be nice to get the starters out of the game for the 4th quarter since they go to PHX and play the next night.

Let's go Lakers!

Games against all non elite teams are now must wins for us sad to say. If we lose this, that OKC game would have been for nothing. Keep it going Lake show, keep it going Magic Mamba!

Welcome back Steve Blake btw... Hopefully this means no more minutes for Duhon.

9 Man Rotation is good
Nash/Blake
Kobe/Meeks
World Peace /Jameson / Clark / Kobe
Clark / Gasol/ World Peace / Jameson
Dwight / Gasol

If Hill wasn't injured... that 9 man rotation + Hill actually looks really good on paper.
