Must sustain defense. This is something we have to hang our hat's on.

Tough game. Start off the road trip right. Play hard like these last three games and good things should happen.

Pound the bigs...
Don't turn it into a track meet.
Howard, Gasol, Clark crash the boards,
Howard with a back to back, with his back conditions, seems he struggles in back 2 backs, but with Kobe Johnson, maybe some eazy buckets will make his back feel better

Should be an easy W, if their energy level is up. Nash should be on his game, playing @ Phoenix

Just another must win game.
I felt like MDA botched things up a bit in the 4th Q tonight. Hopefully that won't be a continuing trend.

1. kobe needs to continue to play like he is currently. this is the best hes been since the 8 game winning streak in the 2010 playoffs IMO
2. feed the bigs
3. D needs to show up like it did in the first half of tonights game, and on sunday vs OKC

Who's their coach now anyhow? Didn't Gentry get let go?
This is actually must win. Still four games out of 8th, and no one is rolling over yet.

I keep reading similar comments to this on here, but the truth is that if each of the teams ahead of us keeps playing at their current levels, we only need to go 25-12 in our remaining 37 games. That basically means that we need to win 2 out of every 3 games that remain, which certainly isn't easy, but it is certainly very attainable, regardless of the outcome tonight. I agree that losing a game against a team like Phoenix would be very bad, but it certainly would be nowhere near a season ending loss.

I don't disagree with what you're saying by my take on our team these days is this. If we're losing games to the sub .500 teams of league then our "revelation" wasn't really much of a revelation at all and there's no way we're going to finish ou the season at a .650 clip.
Besides all that we can't have any confidence damaging losses. We've had enough of those already. We need confidence building wins.

We're getting better by the game, but this hole is because of the losses at home. Indiana, Orlando, Dallas,Denver,Philly, Utah....these are the ones that were the most costly.

Suns fan here. My suns are the worst I have seem in 30 years. We have basically no talent other than dragic. Brown, telfair, tucker are d league players playing major minutes. Our coach is horrible and has no experience.
Point is no matter how motivated the suns are there really is no excuse for the lakers to lose.
So relax lakers fans
