Pick and Roll Defense

This is a persisting problem and IMO, the biggest reason why the Lakers' defense has been so bad this year. Any decent PG who can intelligently run the PNR can do pretty well against the Lakers.
IMO, the Lakers' Bigs haven't been playing it aggressively enough. They don't show, hedge or trap often and they don't vary their attack to keep the opposing PGs guessing. Actually, the Lakers Bigs play it pretty much the same way all the time. Let their own PG fight through the screen while they back up into the paint. You simply can't give an NBA-level PG that much room to operate. This is just bad fundamental defense.
