against what teams do you root for the celtics ..?

for me....miami, ....ummmm .....okc .....mem..... well i root for them to win against those teams because those games either give me hope that we can play well against them, or it helps us in our conf..

oh and i like watching them play against the nets and knicks...well i just have respect for their grit and determination....still can't stand them, miami, suns, mem, and okc....hate those mofo's...but i respect the celts more so than any other rival we face....and i enjoy our championship battles ...it takes alot for me to actually root for that ugly green midget with a pipe though....no offense to midgets or midget laker fans.....

Usually its only against Miami. This year, any team that is fighting for the 7th/8th seed in the Western playoffs :lol:

lol asian i feel you....it feels soo good to watch celtics fans suffer (not because of rondo...i'd never wish injury on a player)...but then again i can't understand why i respect the team....maybe it's because kg was my fave player (even over kobe) before he went to boston...and i'm sure if we wouldn't have won in '10 i would get physically sick watching them play/win....as long as they don't win a ship before we do.....the respect will stand lol

no one, I dont even Hate Mia like that, even if Bos were bottom feeders and we need them to beat a team for us I'd still wouldn't root for Bos.

lol @ people rooting against the Heat, 15 year old Laker fans.

My hatred will reign always for the Celtics.

When its Celtics Spurs i just hope the ground falls in or something. Or somehow a tie is achieved.

i mean of course i hate the heat....i'm not 15 though....lebron and dwade led teams have been kobe's/lakers rivals for a while...and yeah, maybe i hate the way the stars aligned for the heat....but it's just i have more respect for the players on the celtics.....so i'd rather see the celtics beat the heat if i had to choose....oh yeah i hate the spurs with a passion as well.....it sucks living in nj...there's soo many celtic's fans/laker's haters here...

This is the only answer. I hope to never see another Boston championship in my lifetime. I guess last year I wouldn't have minded too much if they beat the Heat, but if and only if the Thunder destroyed them in the finals. At the end of the day, I rather see any team win the championship, the Clippers included, than the Celtics. I wasn't around for the 80's, but knowing what I know, added to 2008 is more than enough. Heck I hated them before 2008...it just comes with being a Laker fan. The second you become a Laker, the Celtics are automatically your least favorite team. That's the way it should be.

Sedale is right, even the city in general. I hope they make the playoffs and lose in the first round just so they never get even the slimmest chance at the lottery. I love Tom Brady but glad they lost. I hate hockey but I hope the Bruins lose. I hope A-roid hits multiple homers against the Red Sox every time they play and they lose out on the pennant by 1 game every year. Screw that dirty town and it's stupid accent.

None. I will still hate the Celtics more than any other team in the league, even if the Heat have LeBron 'The Decision' James, Dwyane 'Flop' Wade, Chris 'Mr. Soft' Bosh and Chris 'Free Candy' Andersen.
