Can we play more triangle?

Was it just me or did it seem like when the game got close with about 6 minutes to go, Pau and Kobe went back to some kind of quasi-triangle. The Pau over the should pass to the baseline cutting Jamison comes to mind. They went to Pau in the post for 3 or 4 series in a row right then, and he either made easy layups or hit the cutter. We pushed away and won the game after that. Any chance we will see more of this?

Might as well..

Kind of shows that Phil system might of been better suited for this team than Dan Tony's

Steve Nash is being used as an off the ball shooter with Kobe playmaking

if it helps us to win then yes, PJ should've been our coach, but that time has come and gone. If the Lakers are just going to pay MDA to just sit there and let the players come up with the game plan, hell I'll do it for 3 grand a week...lol

But I like seeing this Gasol

It's going to take more than a couple of plays in a single game to convince me completely that a switch to the Triangle Offense, a system whose elements still remain with every team in the NBA and is one of the most difficult to learn, is a good idea.

great system, but we don't have time for it, but Nash and Jamison are smart guys so I think they can keep up with Gasol, MWP and Bryant when they revert back to some sets from the old system

Artest might not be a big fan of switching back since he openly admitted to struggling to understand the nuances of the system.

Good! If he's confused maybe he'll shoot less... :D

I think it's actually the opposite. When Artest feels that he's not contributing, he'll start forcing up stuff.
