hypothetical of course ....would you guys prefer new ownership? or would you feel more safe with jim at the helm?.....even though i believe that jim will not amount to anything at this level....and will ruin our championship culture.....i think if we get new owners they'd just be in it solely for the money, where as jim is only in it for the money as well, but still has his fathers legacy looming, along with kobe soo that gives me slightly more solice than a new owner would....this isn't to say we're getting new ownership...not meant to turn into an argument...but simply, which would you feel more comfy with...

It might be too soon for this thread but FWIW magic didn't mention Jim buss at all when talking about the future of the franchise. did mention jeanie buss and how Jerry put her in business school so she can take over. IDK maybe just lookin a bit too much into it

Noticed that as well. I honestly wish their was some way Magic could run the player personnel instead of Jim.

I usually look at these things in different ways. For example, they say, it is difficult to follow the king. In other words, you dont want to be the man, who follows after THE MAN! But you want to be the man, who follows after the man, who follows after THE MAN!

And theres tons of examples. A small example, you dont want to be the coach who follows phil jackson. They usually dont fare too well.

But this is Jimmys time, and praying and hoping he gets the ship turned around.

2 ways to do it. Stay the course, and then eventually through the process of time, everything will be weeded out and we will eventually get back to the top. Second way to do it, Fire away! Fire and blast until we get the right people in here to do the job, and thereby speeding up the process by throwing resources, time, monies and everything to get to the top!

We shall see, Its up to Jim.

Put in perspective the few times he made a decision you as a fan did not like!

Lets cut the guy some slack ...for now anyway!

....... Not only does this thread irk me because Dr. Buss just passed away but it's completely false since Jim is coowner with all his other siblings.

Closing this in light of the moment and considering that the original supposition is untrue
