Remember that major twitter campaign a few months ago where it was a 16 year old boy who had cancer and he wanted to meet Kobe and Kobe sent him a video message?

He died of cancer recently....so sad...

Here's the story of him.

This truly is a sad and unfortunate story. Cancer is a horrible disease and I hope we are able to find a cure for it sometime soon. May god bless Chris and provide his father with the strength to heal as best as possible, if possible.

RIP

yeah, I am a Clipper fan, this story has me in tears for 2 reasons.
It is so sad to see the young pass away & sometimes we will never know how much community work Kobe & other superstars do for the people in need.
I am sorry that Chris passed away, but it is so nice that Kobe's human side (one we forget to see) is being noticed.

a sadder story was that a kid who was Iverson's fan was not willing to give his Iverson jersey to a gangster and the kid was shot and died.

I would never give me Iverson Jersey (76ers) to anyone. Straight up. I would die in that uniform. If it was the Denver/Detriot AI jersey then meh fine.
